Introduction

       The CN2025 is ahigh-efficiency, DC-to-DC buck converter capable of delivering up to 2A ofoutput current. The CN2025 operates from an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5Vand provides an output voltage from 0.6V on, making the device ideal for lowvoltage power conversions. Running at a frequency of 1.3MHz allows the use ofsmall external components, such as ceramic input and output caps, as well assmall inductors, while still providing low output ripples. This low noiseoutput along with its excellent efficiency achieved by the internal synchronousrectifier, making CN2025 an ideal green replacement for large power consuminglinear regulators.

Internal soft-startcontrol circuitry reduces inrush current. Short-circuit and thermal-overloadprotection improves design reliability.

The CN2025 is available in SOT23-5, SOT23-6 and DFN1.6x1.6-6packages.
